Tree Plantation drive of 20 Million Trees was planned by Maharashtra State Government & Forest Department, wherein Rotary district 3131 took enthusiastic and active participation. Rotary Club of Bibwewadi Pune along with five other clubs RC Sarasbaug, RC Deccan Gymkhana, RC Metro, RC Elite and RC Hillside volunteered and contributed for plantation of 20,000 tree saplings at village Hatwegaon, Near Nasarapur off Pune - Satara Highway. The arrangement for smooth execution was planned by distribution of Ponchos, Breakfast and Lunch to all the volunteers. Around 450 students from Athwale School, 50 Labours of the Forest Department and more than 100 Rotarians of the six clubs worked together to achieve the task of 20000 saplings. The project was lead by President Rtn. Kaushik Patel, Secretary Rtn. Prasanna Dhariwal and Service Project Director Rtn. Suraj Shah. The other club members include Rtn. Amol Sindagi, Rtn. Nikhil Bhalerao, Ann Suma Shah, Ann Shilpa Patel, Ann Sheetal Sindagi, Annets Jaimin, Shusrut, Isha & Aman.
